Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m.

Serves: Approximately 100 lawyers in the cities of Belleville, Trenton and the environs of Stirling, Madoc, Tweed, Bancroft,Tyendinaga Territory and Picton.

Services: Photocopying, printing, faxing and document delivery.

Circulation Policy: Reference texts on 24 hour loan only and the balance of the collection on 2 week loan.

History: The Hastings County Law Association appointed their first Library Assistant, Lily Garghan in 1976. Prior to that date, the library functioned through the combined efforts of lawyers who volunteered their services to manage the collection. In 1990, the HCLA was incorporated, officers were appointed and the library was fixed as the registered office for the corporation.

Facility:The law library is situated 2 floors down from Family Court at Century Place, Belleville. The library provides seating space for 7 and includes study carrels and 3 workstations.
