Staff Hours: Tuesday - Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Serves: Approximately 80 lawyers from Kent County, as well as the surrounding areas of Essex and Lambton Counties.

Services: Photocopying, printing, faxing.

Circulation Policy: Members may sign out material for a period of 7 days.  Pocket cards are located inside front cover of books.  Please sign and file alphabetically (surname) in outgoing file index.  Law Reports are signed out using the notebook located beside the file index for a period of 7 days.

Special Collections: n/a

History: Formerly the Municipal Building, it was renovated inside to accommodate the new Chatham Court House in 2003. The library is located on the 4th floor.

Computer User Workstations: 2

Facility: The library has seating capacity for 12 and includes 3 work tables. The are men's / women's robing rooms and a small lawyers' lounge. A TV with VCR/DVD is available for viewing videos etc. Access cards are available daily for a $10.00 returnable fee. Non members of the Kent Law Association are directed to staff located at Court Services on the 1st floor.

Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible at the courthouse entrance.To gain access to the Court House you will have to go through security at the front doors. The security elevator is used to gain access to the library. A Security Access Card is required in the elevator to gain access to the library located on the 4th floor.
