Hours: The library is unstaffed. It is available to lawyers when the courthouse is open. Local lawyers have access 24/7 via key.

Serves: Approximately 10 lawyers in Gore Bay, Little Current and M'Chigeeng.

Services: None - The library is a self-service facility.

History: Internal documentation indicates there was an Association of lawyers on Manitoulin Island in the 1940's and possibly earlier. In 1994, the Association was revived and became the 48th of the County and District Law Associations in Ontario.

Computer User Workstations: 1 (computer and printer).

Facility: The library is located in the basement of the District Courthouse. There is a work table and seating for 4-6 lawyers and 1 computer workstation. The print collection is very limited in scope.

Accessibility: Wheelchair accessible (using keyed entry - not from within the courthouse).
