Martha Foote joined LibraryCo in October 2007 as Board General Manager. She holds a Masters degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Trinity College, University of Toronto. She has more than 25 years’ experience in the legal, financial services and not-for-profit sectors. In February 2013 Martha became a Fellow of the Special Libraries Association (SLA). She is currently chair-elect of SLA’s Leadership and Management Division. Martha is also a past chair of the SLA’s Legal Division, a past president of the Toronto chapter of SLA and served on the board of the Canadian Association of Law Libraries (CALL/ACBD) from 1995 to 1997. Martha was the recipient of the Thomson Reuters Westlaw Award for Career Achievement, which was presented at the 2012 Special Libraries Association conference. The award recognizes a member who has provided significant service to the SLA Legal Division.
Beth Weisz joined LibraryCo in April 2013 as the Assistant to the Board General Manager. She is a gradute of Seneca College’s Library & Information Technician program. For almost 20 years Beth worked in marketing, sales and customer service functions in the private sector. She broadened her administrative skills in the legal and real estate fields. Beth chaired the fundraising committee as an active parent volunteer while her children attended elementary school. She brings a broad range of technical, administrative and organizational skills to LibraryCo.
